Northern Engineering Services

Northern Engineering Services (Northern) was founded in 1987 in Fort Collins, Colorado, and in 2015 merged with KBN Engineers (KBN) of Greeley, Colorado. KBN began its operations in 1977. In April of 2017, the firm discontinued the KBN tradename and began transacting all business as Northern Engineering.

Northern offers a wide range of expertise and experience in public and private land development, infrastructure design, and land surveying services throughout the Front Range. We have an established reputation based on technical expertise, strong communication, and outstanding service. Our dedicated staff of engineers, surveyors, technicians, and administrative staff are committed to meeting the needs of our clients. It is because of these qualities that Northern continues to be the preferred civil engineering and surveying firm in Northern Colorado. Northern was previously awarded Best Small Business and Best Place to Work by the Fort Collins Coloradoan and was recently honored as a Mercury 100 Fastest Growing Private Company for 2017 by Bizwest.
